The Wallaby Lodge
The Wallaby Lodge sleeps 4 people (2 Adults 2 kids) with plenty of space to spare, there is a separate bed room with double bed & a large lounge area with 1 double sofa bed. – (travel cot available if needed). The Wallaby Lodge is designed with your safety and comfort in mind – ceiling lights, CO2 detector, smoke alarm and a heater. The kitchenette includes a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, cutlery and utensils, all you need to enjoy 5 Star camping!
The generous porch area allows visitors to remove their messy clothes & footwear before they go inside, whatever the weather might throw at them, you can also relax with your feet up in the evening sun (glass a vino) with super views of Lambay Island.
Why the name “Wallaby Lodge”?
As you take in the breathtaking views from Rockabill to Ireland’s Eye, have a glimpse of Lambay Island for there is a small population of red-necked wallabies that live on the island which is only 4km from the coast of Portrane. They were first introduced in the 1950s from Dublin Zoo and have made it there home ever since.
